At the helm is Jason Nicols, a passionate EV driver and entrepreneur who understands firsthand the transformative power of electric vehicles and the urgent need for accessible home and slow charging options.
Jason has partnered with Power Rangers Ltd, the creators of GoPlugable, to bring this innovative peer-to-peer EV charger sharing platform to Canada. Together, they aim to replicate the success achieved in Ireland, where GoPlugable has been piloting its platform for over two years.

Established as a pioneering Irish startup, GoPlugable has built a reputation for innovation and impact in the EV space. Over two years of pilot programs across Ireland have proven the value of unlocking thousands of private home and business chargers—which make up the majority of EV charging needs—for public use through an easy-to-use digital platform.

Meet Jason Nicols
Jason brings decades of experience in home renovation and construction, fostering a deep understanding of property management and infrastructure development—key to scaling EV charging in residential and commercial spaces. As a proud Model Y owner and dedicated EV advocate, Jason recognized a significant opportunity: many EV owners struggle with charging access, especially outside public networks.
This insight fuels his commitment to lead GoPlugable’s Canadian pilot, building a local community of drivers and hosts who share a common mission: to make EV charging more accessible, affordable, and integrated into daily life.
